Police Seeking Robber Who Held Up 2 South Austin Stores
APD is asking for the public's assistance to identify the suspect.

Police are asking the public to help identify a man who has held up two South Austin businesses.
The suspect has robbed businesses located at 6303 Manchaca Rd. on Nov. 9, and 1601 St. Elmo Rd. on Nov. 10, police said in a news release. In both robberies the suspect showed a handgun before leaving the store with cash.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants and white and black shoes, police said. The suspect has been seen on foot in the St. Elmo area, and police believe he may be transient.

Here’s the police description of the suspect:
- Black male
- In his 30s
- 5’8” to 6’ tall
- Thin build
- 1-2 inch scar or mark under right eye
Anyone who may have information about the robberies, or the suspect, is asked to contact APD’s robbery unit at (512) 974-5270.
