It's not too late to register for the 8th annual Run With the Heroes 5K, honoring fallen members of Austin's first responders. This year's race will honor Travis County Senior Deputy Sheriff Jessica Hollis, who drowned last year after her patrol car was washed away as she checked the roadways for high water. The run starts at 8 a.m. on Sept. 13 at the Waterloo Icehouse at Southpark Meadows Shopping Center. Beginner and advanced runners are encouraged to participate.The event benefits the Special Olympics.
