SOUTH AUSTIN, TX - A school bus carrying children crashed into a car in South Austin Monday morning. Police received a call about a crash involving a school bus on Dec. 14 at 7:58 a.m., officials said. The crash occurred on McKinney Falls Pkwy near Shaw Lane.The bus was carrying 47 children, but none were reported to be injured. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The reports said the car stopped suddenly and appeared to attempt to make a U-turn when it was hit from behind by the school bus.
