Six Vehicles Involved In South Austin Collision
Multi-vehicle crash involving eight people Friday night along southbound I-35 service road at Riverside Drive resulted in no injuries.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Emergency first responders were dispatched to South Austin on Friday night in response to a six-vehicle collision.
The multi-vehicle collision involved eight people in the incident that occurred at around 9:35 p.m. along the southbound Interstate 35 service road at Riverside Drive, fire officials said. Despite the dramatic scene, none of the people involved in the mass collision required hospitalization, according to fire officials.
It's unclear what may have caused the wreck, but roads were slick Friday after heavy rainfall that began strongly in the morning before tapering off by late afternoon.
