South Austin Bank Branch Robbed (Updated)
The holdup occurred Monday afternoon at a Chase bank outlet along the 100 block of Slaughter Lane.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A Chase bank branch in South Austin was robbed Monday afternoon, police said.
The branch is located along the 100 block of West Slaughter Lane. The incident is said to have occurred T 3:10 p.m., police said in a subsequent statement.
The suspect passed a note to the teller demanding money before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said. He was last seen walking northbound on Cullen Lane, officials added.

The suspect is described as a black male between 30 to 40 years old standing between five feet, ten inches and six feet tall. He is estimated to weigh 190 pounds with a muscular build, sporting a goatee. The suspect was last seen wearing a gray hooded t-shirt, white cap, long black sleeve over right arm, gray sweatpants with black on the front (looks like shorts over sweatpants) and one black back pocket.
The suspect wore sunglasses during the heist, had a black packpack with him and wore gray/black tennis shoes
