South Austin Murder Suspect Booked In Bastrop County Jail
Police believe the 18-year-old man and another unidentified suspect shot a man in a South Austin storage facility earlier this month.
A suspect in a South Austin storage facility shooting was booked into the Bastrop County Jail early Tuesday morning.
Police believe Darius Edward Bailey, 18, and another unidentified male shot Richard Rosenberg, 59, at a storage facility on the 1600 block of Matthews Lane on Nov. 12. He is now being held on a murder charge and $750,000 bond.
Police were notified of the shooting at about 1:00 a.m. and county EMS transported Rosenberg to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 1:45 a.m.
