South Austin Neighborhood On Edge After Indecent Exposure Reports At City Park
The incident is said to have occurred Sept. 27 when a man was spotted touching himself inappropriately at Searight Metro Park.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- Residents are still on edge after reports of a man exposing himself at the Mary Moore Searight Metropolitan Park this week.
The incident occurred around 6 p.m. Sept. 27 at the park located just southwest of the intersection of South 1st Street and Slaughter Lane, CBS Austin reported.
The suspect is as yet unidentified and has not been apprehended. Witnesses reported seeing him touching himself inappropriately along the park's walking trail.

"This isn't right, we know who you are," said one of witnesses to the man's exposure, according to the news station. One of the witnesses reportedly grabbed the man by the wrist in an attempt to hold him until police arrived, but he got away before cops got there, according to the news station.
Sadly, the incident at the South Austin park is not an uncommon occurrence, CBS Austin reported. So far this year, 189 cases of indecent exposure have been reported to Austin police this year alone, the station reported.
