South Austin Shooting Leaves Man Dead
First responders were called to 400 block of East William Cannon Drive near I-35 early Tuesday to find gunshot victim who later died.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man early Tuesday at a South Austin apartment complex.
Emergency crews reported to the 400 block of East William Cannon Drive near Interstate 35 just before 1:45 a.m. on Tuesday amid reports of a shooting. Once there, medics found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. The man was rushed to St. David's South Austin Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have not identified any suspects, and no arrests have yet been made. Patch will provide more details as they are made available.
