Stretch of I-35 In South Austin Back To Normal After Bricks Spill
For a couple of hours, traffic had been reduced to one lane as cleanup was under way.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- An added traffic delay in South Austin on an otherwise normal Friday rush hour hit motorists like a ton of bricks -- to a degree, although not by the full weight measure.
Interstate 35 lanes was reopened shortly before 9 p.m. Friday evening after a pile of bricks spilled from a truck onto the roadway was picked up by work crews.
Northbound I-35 traffic at I-35 and Woodward Street had come to a standstill earlier after the stretch of roadway was reduced to one lane during cleanup, the Austin American-Statesman reported.
