Three Children, One Adult Hospitalized After South Austin House Fire
The victims suffered from smoke inhalation after their home at 4717 Suckols Crossing Rd. near St. Elmo rd. caught fire early Thursday.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Three children and one adult were rushed to the hospital early Thursday morning after suffering from smoke inhalation when their southeast Austin home caught fire, officials said.
The four victims have since been treated and released, KVUE reported.
According to fire officials, the fire at the house located at 4717 Suckols Crossing Rd. near St. Elmo Road began on the front porch before spreading to the structure. The homeowner told KVUE a neighbor alerted them to the fire around 6 a.m. before one of the residents dialed 911.

The news station reported that firefighters had a challenging time accessing the home since it is located behind a car wash business.
There was no word as to the extent of damage to the home or what may have caused it to catch on fire.
