Issues of escape, strangeness, and hostility contrasted with the pull of opportunity, safe harbor, and the refuge of old country enclaves then as now. You will really need to be there, participating, to get the full impact of the event. BORDERǀPROMISE is a part of PrintAustin, the month-long printmaker’s festival.
