Woman Accused Of Drunk Driving In South Austin Tried Propositioning Officer

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- A woman was booked into jail after allegedly driving drunk and then trying to persuade the arresting officer to have sex, according to a news report.
Police said Laura Fox, 40, was intoxicated on Sept. 27 when she was detained at about 8:30 p.m., CBS Austin reported. A witness reported the woman nearly ran over pedestrians along the 1500 block of South Congress and had nearly caused several accidents as a result of her impaired driving, according to the report.
When she was pulled over in the 2500 block of South 1st Street, police found a bottle of Jack Daniels whisksy in the center console of the vehicle, the station. It was then that the woman was said to have propositioned the officer with graphic language, despite repeated repeated requests for her to stop, the news station reported.

The woman's blood alcohol level registered at 0.274, more than three times the legal limit, the station reported. She was charged with driving while intoxicated.
