Woman Busted For DWI In South Austin With Baby In Tow Was High On PCP: Police

Rebecca Reyna, 22, allegedly admitted to police she took 'dip,' which is a cigarette dipped in Phencyclidine aka angel dust.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX -- A woman recently arrested for DWI with an infant in her vehicle was not drunk, but high on PCP, police said.

Rebecca Reyna, 22, was charged with driving while intoxicated with child passenger, a state jail felony, KEYE-TV reported. The arrest occurred last Saturday at about 3 a.m. in the 8800 block of South Interstate 35, north of the Slaughter Lane intersection.

Police said Reyna's car was found in the median, between the service road and the interstate. Her speech was slow, and she had trouble answering questions, the station reported police as having said.

Reyna is said to have admitted to police she had taken "dip," which is the term used to describe a cigarette dipped in PCP, some four hours before she got behind the wheel.
