Woman Dies In South Austin House Fire
Firefighters found the woman inside the home in the 9000 block of Marsh Drive but were unable to revive her through CPR.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — A woman died in a house fire Saturday afternoon in South Austin, fire officials confirmed.
Firefighters responded to the blaze in the 9000 block of Marsh Drive just after 2 p.m., when they saw flames and smoke emanating from the roof of the dwelling, an Austin Fire Department spokesperson told the Austin American-Statesman. Firefighters found the woman inside the woman and unsuccessfully attempted to resuscitate her via CPR.
The woman's name has not been disclosed, pending notification of her family members. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
