Woman Unsuccessfully Tries Robbing South Austin Bank
Suspect demanded money after entering Wells Fargo bank branch at 2326 S. Congress Ave. but left empty-handed.

SOUTH AUSTIN, TX — Police are on the lookout for a woman they said unsuccessfully tried robbing a South Austin bank branch late Thursday.
According to a police press advisory, the woman entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 2326 S. Congress Ave. near Oltorf Street just past 4 p.m. She demanded money but was unsuccessful in securing it. A scant description was offered: A middle-aged white woman wearing a long-sleeved, dark top.
