Couple Leads Constables On ATV Pursuit On FM 1960

HOUSTON, TX — A man and a woman are facing charges after leading deputy constables on a short pursuit down FM 1960 on an ATV Friday morning.

Deputies arrested Yarley Ramirez and her passenger, Javier Perez after the ATV malfunctioned and stalled shorty after the chase began.

Both were detained by deputies after the ATV stalled.

Deputies said Ramirez appeared intoxicated and was given a field sobriety test, and failed.

She was charged with driving while intoxicated, while Perez as charged with evading arrest.

Ramirez and Perez were taken to the Harris County Jail where they were booked.

Their bond has not been set.
