Deputies Rescue Man And Avert Potential Suicide On Grand Parkway
"Both Deputy Brauer and Netro are true heroes and risked their own lives to save the life of another," Constable Mark Herman said.
TOMBALL, TX — Three Precinct 4 deputy constable's are credited with saving the life of a man who was threatening to jump from the Grand Parkway bridge onto State Highway 249, and certain death.
The incident was recorded on Transtar video on Thursday, March 8, at about 3 p.m.
The video showed Deputy's Brauer and Netro rushing toward the man and tackling him as he peers over the side of the bridge onto the busy freeway below.

The man, whose identity was not released, was taken to an psychiatric facility for treatment.
"Both Deputy Brauer and Netro are true heroes and risked their own lives to save the life of another," Constable Mark Herman said in a statement.
