Hurricane Harvey: Northwest Houston School Districts Closed Until Sept 1
Districts In Spring, Tomball, and Klein Are Closed.
SPRING, TX — School districts in Tomball, Spring and Klein ISD announced Sunday that schools will that they will be closed until Sept. 1, until after the remnantsw of Hurricane Harvey have cleared up.
Distirct officials acounced school closures the day before Hurricane Harvey made landfall on Friday, and indicated most owuld wait until Monday.
However, with the severe weather system expected to impact the area until at least Tuesday, oficials in all districts needed time to assess any damage to their facilities.

Harvey which made landfall in Rockport Friday night, has inundated the Greater Houston area with heavy rain, resulting im severe flooding.
