Investigators Release Video In Spring Couple's Murder

Investigators looking to identify suspects in capital murder of Bao and Jenny Lam on Saturday

SPRING, TX — Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide investigators have released surveillance video of persons of interest in the double murder of a Sprong couple over the weekend.

Harris County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the 16510 Glorietta Turn in Spring shortly before 7 p.m. on Jan. 13 for a welfare check.

The couple's son met deputies at the home, and reported that his parents, Bao and Jenny Lam, had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 11.

The couple's son told deputies that his parents phones were going straight to voicemail and their home phone was out of service.

Deputies found the house locked, but were able to look inside the windows and determined the home appeared to have been ransacked.

Deputies forced their way inside the home and discovered the bodies of Bao and Jenny Lam.

Investigators said the couple had been tied up and had been shot to death execution style, and an unknown number of guns were stolen from the home allong with jewelry and other valuables.

The couple's 2016 gray 4DR Porsche Panamera was also missing from the garage, and was found the next day in a parking lot off of FM 1960.

Deputies recovered video from the security gate at the entrance to the subdivision, which shows two men coming into the subdivision entrance at 8:20 P.M. on Thursday night.

Investigators said the two men were driving a black 2007 to 2014 Lincoln Navigator.

Video surveillance shows the driver parking the Navigator in the turn around, outside the gate, and the two men walking up the street and crawling beneath the gate, entering the subdivision.

The passenger appears to be very tall, and in excess of 6'4”and walks with an unusual gait or limp.

He was wearing a letterman’s jacke t with “CC” on the front and two tone pants, with one light colored leg and one dark colored leg.

However, his face was covered.

The driver appears to be a black or Hispanic male, is medium height and build.

His face was not covered.

At approximately 8:40 p.m. the Lams came home and pulled into their garage.

Investigators believe the two men ambushed the Lams when the arrived home, and forced them into their residence, where they were bound, robbed, and murdered.

On Jan. 12, at about 2:30 a.m., video survellance shows the Lam's gray Porsche leave the subdivision, and return a short time later and remained at the scene until about 6:30a.m. when the driver, returned to the Navigator and drove away, followed by the Porsche.

It appears that the suspects returned to the Lam’s home several times between their initial assault on Thursday night and when the Lam’s bodies were discovered on Saturday evening.

Investigators are still reviewing surveillance video, but are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects in the Navigator and any other persons who may be involved in this horrendous crime.
