“When I was waiting in line to go on stage, I was so nervous and thinking to myself, ‘how in the world am I going to hold this huge framed art piece?’ Then it was my turn to take the stage, and I felt like I belonged there like I had done this before,” said Isabella. “It was so exciting every time a new buyer would throw out a new price for my artwork. I kept praying and thanking God the whole time for this amazing gift. “
Isabella’s award for her beautiful artwork consisted of the Reserve Grand Champion trophy and money from the live auction which will positively impact her future. Isabella’s artwork competed against over 100 other pieces from several local Houston-area school districts.
“Having our first Elementary Division auction winner is monumental,” said Leah McWhorter, Assistant Director of Fine Arts. “This is just one example of our outstanding Art teachers and students in Klein ISD Fine Arts. Our future is bright!”
Congratulations to Isabella! Your passion for Art and drive to succeed is something to be celebrated, and your Klein Family is happy to cheer you on in your next endeavors.
