The outdoor festival is being launched by the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Harris County Precinct 4, the Greater Houston Off-Road Biking Association, Bayou Land Conservancy, CHI St. Luke’s Hospital and other businesses, to spotlight some of the greatest amenities in the northwest Houston community.

β€œWe want to introduce our community to those things that make it the best place to raise a family,” explains event chair Christina Bowden, β€œand that includes fresh air, food, fishing, fun, families.”

The Preserve will offer paddling, pontoon boat rides, a Youth Fishing Derby, public fishing, geocaching, archery and many nature activities hosted by the region’s foremost experts during the 2018 Paddle N Peddle fest.

At the CHI St. Luke’s Festival Site will be interactive activities by exhibitors, food trucks, face-painting, health & wellness activities, a choo-choo train and a climbing wall.

There will also be live music with professional and semi-professional performances by recorded artists and groups selected to perform throughout the event.

The Festival will be covered by local author and celebrity, Oscar Hines of Ninja Communications.

Oscar will host simulcasting of the performances via the SYNERGY Radio Network Show on 1480 AM and 94.9 FM.

β€œWe are thrilled to have this caliber of performers,” Barbara Thomason, Chamber president said, β€œbecause you would normally have to pay several admissions to see this lineup of talent.”

The music lineup includes:

  • Miss Leslie (Sloan)
  • The Texas Master Chorale
  • Aubrie Lynn
  • Todd Burrer & Fellowship of the Swing Orchestra
  • Luther and The Healers
  • Hamilton Loomis

Parking will be facilitated by shuttles circulating between the Preserve, the Hospital, the Vintage Shopping Village and other parking areas as needed.
