Spring ISD, Beckett Foundation Host Luncheon For Harvey Victims

The Josh Beckett Foundation along with HEB will be supplying the food and giving away gift cards to families.

SPRING, TX - From Spring ISD: The Josh Beckett Foundation is partnering with the Spring ISD Education Foundation to host a luncheon and provide additional assistance for Spring ISD families and employees who received grants from the Education Foundation’s Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund after having suffered personal losses due to the storm.

The event, which is by invitation, will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at Spring High School, 19428 I-45 North, Spring, Texas 77373.

The Josh Beckett Foundation along with HEB will be supplying the food, prepared by Brian Tuttle, a Spring High School graduate. In addition, HEB is providing gift cards and Jim McIngvale, also known as Mattress Mack, is providing furniture vouchers for giveaway.

During the luncheon, Josh Beckett’s wife, Holly Beckett, and the executive director of his foundation, Jason Oberle, will join Spring ISD Superintendent Dr. Rodney E. Watson and Spring ISD Education Foundation Director Ken Grays in recognizing the guests and making presentations. Both the Becketts and Oberle are Spring High School graduates.
