Spring ISD Future Teachers Sign Letters Of Intent

Spring ISD Future Teacher Signing Day Celebrates 27 Graduating Seniors Who Aspire to Become Teachers

HOUSTON, TX β€” Spring Independent School District will celebrate 27 graduating seniors who have completed the education pathway and participated in the Texas Association of Future Educators program at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24 at the Spring ISD Transportation Center.

The students will be celebrated in a ceremony that features them signing letters of intent to return to the district to teach after graduating from college with an education degree.

The education career pathway was introduced at Carl Wunsche Sr. High School when it opened in 2006. Over the past six years, the district has expanded the pathway to Dekaney, Spring and Westfield high schools, allowing more students to be exposed to education as a career option beginning in the ninth grade.
