Spring ISD To Hold Town Halls On Superintendent Search
Parents and community members can offer feedback on the search for Rodney Watson's replacement at meetings Tuesday and Thursday.
SPRING, TX β Spring ISD will hold a pair of town hall meetings this week to provide an update and hear feedback on the search for a new superintendent.
There will be two meetings, and the public is welcome to attend one or both town halls, the district said. The first meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Randall Reed Center inside the district's Planet Ford Stadium, located at 23802 Cypresswood Drive in Spring. The second meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Spring ISD Family and Community Engagement Center, located at 17125 Ella Blvd. in Houston.
The district is searching for a replacement for Rodney Watson, who announced last month he was leaving to accept the deputy executive director position at the Texas Association of School Boards in January. Watson was named superintendent in 2014.
