Spring ISD : Spring ISD Accepting Applications For Candidates To Fill Trustee Positions 6, 7

The Spring ISD Board of Trustees is accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill the unexpired terms of Trustees Jana Gonzales and Donald Davis, who separately announced plans during Tuesday’s special session meeting to retire from their positions.

The Board plans to fill both vacancies for Position 6 and Position 7 by an appointment process.

Qualified candidates should submit an application either via email to boardservices@springisd.org or in person to the Spring ISD Office of the General Counsel by 5 p.m. on July 12. The Board will review applications and determine which applicants will be invited for an interview. The Board plans to fill vacancies, pending identification of qualified candidates, by appointment during its August 5 work session.

The appointees would serve until the Nov. 2 election for both positions. Davis and Gonzales will retain their duties and responsibilities as trustees until the vacancies are filled.
