Suspect In Fatal Hit And Run Surrenders
Investigators are questioning the driver who fled the3 scene of a hit and run accident early Monday morning

SPRING, TX — The driver who fled the scene of a fatal hit and run accident on Monday morning turned themselves to at the Harris County Sheriff's Office Monday afternoon.
The driver, whose identity has not been released, is being questioned by accident investigators.
The accident happened at about 1 a.m. Monday morning in the 11400 block of Jones Road.

Investigators said the victim, 57-year-old Michael Hughes, was walking across the center turn lane in the 11400 block of Jones Road, when he was hit by a car traveling north on Jones Road.
The suspect vehicle then fled the scene without providing aid to Hughes, who died at the scene as a result of injuries.
