Teen Escapes Kidnapping Attempt In Cypress Neighborhood
Police are looking for a middled-aged white man with short dark hair, driving a black Ford F-150 pickup.

CYPRESS, TX — Harris County Investigators are looking for a man who tried to kidnap a teeange girl at knifepoint on Sunday.
The incident happened in the Coles Crossing Subdivision at about 4 p.m. Sunday, at the intersection of Closewood Terrace Drive and Ashland Landing Drive.

As he walked toward her, the girl said he lifted his shirt to show her a knife, and told her to get in the truck or he’d kill her, KTRK reported.
The girl got in the truck, but was able to jump out after he’d driven them about a block, KPRC reported.

The teen ran to homes in the neighborhood banging on doors and asking for help.
Meanwhile, the man who tried to take her, escaped and is considered armed and dangerous.
He is described as a heavyset, middle-aged white man with short brown hair and a deep voice.
Sheriff’s investigators are looking at surveillance footage fro homes in the area and are hoping to get some leads on the identity of the kidnapper.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
