• Fort Bend ISD to replace 8 school buses with Texas Clean School Bus Program (communityimpact.com) — Fort Bend ISD, which serves many Sugar Land families, is replacing eight aging school buses using a mix of state grant money and 2023 bond contingency funds. The new 77-passenger buses will burn cleaner diesel and support Texas' push for safer, three-point seat belts on every seat, aiming to cut maintenance problems and reduce students' exposure to diesel exhaust.
