Body Of Missing Teen Found In Brazos River
16-year old Aleksea Holman disappeared Monday evening while swimming with a group of friends near George Park

RICHMOND, TX — Rescue officials who were searching the Brazos River for a teenage boy reported missing Monday evening while swimming with friends, recovered his body near George Park a few hours later, officials said.
Searchers recovered the body of Aleksea Holman, 16 at about 10:30 p.m.
Officials said the teenager and some friend were swimming in the Brazos River at about 7 p.m., when he went under, KTRK reported.

The witnesses told police that Holman began to struggle and went under the water.
His friends tried to help, and he resurfaced about 50 yards away from the group, but went back under and never resurfaced, KPRC reported.

Investigators could release the identify of the deceased when the family has been notified.
