Cement Truck Accident Collapses 5 Foot Section Of Roadway In Richmond
Sections of FM 762, Berdett Road, and Reading Road were closed several hours

RICHMOND, TX — A concrete truck overturned early Tuesday morning collapsing a part of the road and leaving a big mess for clean up crews.

Officials said the truck flipped onto the passenger side of the truck, collapsing a 5-foot section of Berdett Road, and spilling concrete and fuel, according to a Houston Chronicle report.

There were no injures reported in the accident, and officials didn’t say how the truck managed to flip over
Nearby sections of Reading Road at FM 762 were closed to traffic until the accident was able to be cleared.

The roadways were reopened to traffic several hours later.
