Fort Bend County Investigators Looking For 4 Men Accused Of Credit Card Fraud

The credit cards were reported stolen from a woman's car that was parked in front of her home in Katy.

KATY, TX — Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Investigators are looking for at least four young men who used stolen credit cards at several area stores, and may have also stolen the credit cards from a woman’s car in Katy.

On Tuesday, June 13, deputies were called to a home in the 5000 block of Azalea Meadow Lane in the Katy area concerning a vehicle burglary.

On Wednesday, June 14, the woman called deputies and said one of her credit cards had been used at several locations Fort Bend County and in Harris County.

Investigators learned that the woman’s credit card was used at a Whataburger in the 100 block of Fry Road; at a Redbox located in the 100 block of Illinois; at a Walmart in the 700 block of Eighth Street in Houston; a McDonald’s in the 1800 block of North Fry Road; at a Shell Station in the 19900 block of the Katy Freeway; and the Best Mini Mart in the 20200 block of Katy Freeway.

Investigators obtained video surveillance from one of the stores that clearly shows the faces of the young using the cards.

All the young men appear to be in their late teens or early 20s.

The first man is white and is about 5’ 10” tall and is heavy-set. He has black hair and a thin beard and wears glasses with a dark frame. He was wearing a gray windbreaker at one of the locations.

The second man is a black male about 5’ 8” tall. He also has a thin build and was wearing a Denver Broncos T-shirt.

The third man is white, and about 5’ 9” tall. He has long black hair and appears to have a thin build. He was shown wearing a black zip-up jacket. He also wears glasses.

The fourth man is a black male with a thin build and appears to weigh about 145 pounds and is about 5’ 11” tall.

“We have excellent video on these characters and they should be easy to find,” said Sheriff Troy E. Nehls. “These are a bunch of lazy punks who appear to do what they want. Bottom line is they broke the law and they need to be put in jail.”
