Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Home Invasion

Woman said five men kicked in the back door and held her at gunpoint while they went through the home, directed by a woman on speaker phone.

FORT BEND COUNTY, TX -- The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion Tuesday where a woman said she was robbed by five men.

The woman, who was visiting her son, said five men kicked in the backdoor and forced her to lay on the ground while they went through the home.

The woman told investigators that the men were directed by a woman on a cell phone, and were looking for something specific.

The men stole money, jewelry and the woman’s cell phone.

After the men left, the woman ran to a neighbor’s home and called 911.
