Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Credit Card Fraud

The men skimmed the credit card information and used a fraudulent credit card to make withdrawals from an ATM machine: Police.

MISSOURI CITY, TX — The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is looking into a case of credit card skimming that was reported June 9 at a Valero Gas station.

Deputies were called to the 11100 block of Briar Forest in regard to fraudulent use of a credit card, by two men who came into the store

Investigators said the men managed to skim /compromise the victim’s debit card, and then used a counterfeit debit card to make several fraudulent ATM withdrawals at the gas station.

The first suspect is a white man with a medium build, who is believed to be in in his early to mid 40s.

He is approximately 5' 11" tall and weighs approximately 185 pounds.

He had a high and tight, or short cropped hair style.

He was wearing a black shirt, black shorts, black sneakers and glasses.

The second man is white, and heavyset. He was about 5’7” tall and weighs about 220 pounds and waqs possibly in his 40s.

He was seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jean shorts, a blue and white baseball cap, and black sneakers.

Both men were possibly Romanian and both men had short mustaches and goatees.

“We have a pretty good look at these two suspects,” said Sheriff Troy Nehls. “You may not know these guys, but in looking at the photos, anyone can spot them.”
