Fort Bend Deputies Nab 2 Fresno Men On Narcotics Charges

Deputies responding to call for stolen vehicle bust meth ring in Fort Bend County

FRESNO, TX -- A report of a stolen vehicle led to the arrest of wo Fort Bend County men for narcotics possession Monday evening.

Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Deputies went to a home in the 1200 block of West Sycamore in Fresno to investigate a report of a stolen vehicle.

According to a Houston Chronicle report, when the deputies arrived, they glanced through the garage window window and saw what investigators later determined was crystal methamphetamine.

Deputies obtained a search warrant and recovered methamphetamine with a street value of $300,000, a cache of weapons, cash and a stolen vehicle.

Jose Pineda, 40, and Samuel Maciel, 20, were arrested and charged with manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance greater than 400 grams.

Both men were taken to the Fort Bend County Jail.

Pineda has also been ordered held for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents.
