Home Invasion Suspects Arrested After Short Manhunt
Deputies arrest four who broke into a woman's home in Sugar Land.

SUGAR LAND TX — Four men who broke into a woman’s house on Tuesday afternoon were arrested after a brief manhunt near Sugar Land.
Bob Haenel, spokesman for the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, said they received a call at about 2 p.m. from a woman who claimed several men were trying to break through her backdoor.
The woman told deputies when she heard the men breaking in, she hid and called 911.

When the men heard law enforcement officers arriving at the home, they ran off.
Deputies saw the men running away and gave chase, and they briefly escaped.

Kempner High School and Drabeck Elementary in Fort bend ISD were placed on lock out mode as officials searched for the suspects, KTRK reported.
Law enforcement officers searched for the men from the air and used K-9 officers on the ground, and all four were captured and were taken to the Fort Bend County Jail.
The names of the four men and their mugshots have not yet been released.
