Investigators Searching For Killer Of Richmond Man

RICHMOND, TX — Fort Bend County homicide investigators are looking for a man who was involved in the shooting death of a 20-year old man last month.

The shooting took place on July 14 in at a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant the 5600 Texas 99 in Richmond.

Witnesses told investigators they saw two men shooting at a car in the parking lot near the restaurant, before each of them drove away on motorcycles.

The shooting victim, identified as Oseikhuemen Omobhude, 20, was shot multiple times but managed to walk from his car to the restaurant for help.

EMS took Omobhude to Memorial Hermann Hospital-Katy, but he died a short time later.

Two weeks later on July 28, investigators arrested 20-year old Victor Cuevas s d charged him with murder.

He is being held in the Fort bend County Jail, with a $750,000 bond.

Meanwhile, homicide investigators are searching for the second shooter, who is described as a black man, 6’ 1” tall and weighing about 190 pounds.

He was wearing a red t-shirt with a Houston Texan logo, blue jeans and carrying a backpack.

“We have one in custody and another suspect out there,” said Sheriff Troy Nehls. “He is a dangerous man and we have to get him off the streets and in jail. He has claimed one life; he needs to be stopped.”
