Local Candidates to Speak at Fort Bend ISD Forum
The Fort Bend Chamber's Education Division will host a forum for local candidates for the Fort Bend ISD school board election.

SUGAR LAND, TX -- The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce’s Education Division will host Fort Bend ISD Candidates Forum on April 19, 2017 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
Join us as we hear from the local candidates for the Fort Bend ISD school board election. Jason Burdine and Lorenzo Angelo DeCamps are candidates for Position 1. KP George and Lorena Duenas are candidates for Position 5. Kristin Tassin, Rodrigo Carreon, and Shirley Rose Gilliam are candidates for Positon 4. Early voting begins April 24-May 2, 2017 and the election will be held on May 6, 2017.
The Education Division of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce is under the leadership of Chairman, Jim Rice, Rice & Gardner Consultants. The Education Division of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce is passionate about building awareness and connections between business sectors, community leaders, and education. Through keeping its members updated and engaged with current events impacting education on the local and national level, the division hopes to further allow individuals to be invested in education.
