Local Man Has Long Recovery After Attack
Thibodeaux, who was badly beaten at a local bar, has 12 fractures in his face and his jaw is broken into four pieces

MISSOURI CITY, TX -- A local man is facing extensive surgeries and a long recovery after he was allegedly attacked and badly beaten in the restroom of a local bar on Oct. 16.
Jordan Thibodeaux has 12 fractures in his face, fractures to his vertebrae, and his jaw is broken into four pieces.
"Basically his face is crushed, all the way," his mother Karen Thibodeaux told KPRC. "His nose is obviously broken. He has a fractured neck. They're going to have to rebuild his whole face. We don't even know how many teeth he's missing."

Bar owner Micah Petrie said there was no indication of any problems among patrons that night, and that regulars mixed well with a few members of a youth sports league who had a party at the bar that might.
Investigators are looking at surveillance video from inside the bar the morning Thibodeaux was hurt, that shows Thibodeaux appears to be having a good time.
"It hurts my feelings to even think somebody would do something like that," said Petrie.
The video shows two men about a minute apart, entering the men's restroom, followed by Thibodeaux, who went in about 30 seconds after the last man.
A short time later, the first man walks out, and about a minute after that the second man walks out.
Several minutes pass before Thibodeaux comes out and sits down.
"I saw him sitting down over here and he was bloody. His face was bashed in," said Petrie. "He said he didn't know what was going on. He said he got jumped in the bathroom. That's all he could say."
Anyone with any information is asked to call the Missouri City Police Department or Crimestoppers at (713) 222-TIPS.
