Missouri City Woman Killed While Walking Her Son To School

Lisa Smith was walking her son to school in Sienna Plantation, when they were hit by an SUV.

MISSOURI CITY, TX — A 37-year old woman was killed and her son was injured after they were both hit by an SUV in Sienna Plantation Thursday morning.

Officials said Lisa Smith was walking with her son near Sienna Ranch Road toward Schiff Elementary School when they were both hit, KHOU reported.

Lisa Smith, was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where she later died.

The child was flown by LifeFlight to Memorial Hermann Hospital and t is listed in stable condition.

It is not known if charges will be filed against the driver of the SUV.
