Richmond Man Arrested For Armed Robbery

RICHMOND, TX — Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a man who they believe robbed a man outside of a his work place on Jan. 3.

The robbery was reported Wednesday morning in the 700 block of FM 359.

Investigators said Jaime Parada, 20, saw the victim at a nearby convenience store and followed the victim to the 700 block of FM 359 where the victim is employed.

The victim told investigators that Parada, approached him in the parking lot and threatened the victim with a handgun, demanding property.

Later in the day, sheriff’s deputies were conducting their investigation when witnesses notified them that the suspect matching Parada’s description had been seen in the area.

Deputies found Parada in the 900 block of Rosa Del Villa Ct. at about 9:50 a.m. and he as arrested and charged with aggravated robbery.

Parada is being held in the Fort Bend County Jail.
