Rosenberg PD Bearding Up Against Pediatric Cancer
The contest is open to all citizens who donate under the Rosenberg Police Team and submit their photos by Dec. 26.

ROSENBERG TEXAS -- The Rosenberg Police Chief Jonathan White is inviting the public to join the Rosenberg Police Team as they “Beard It Up” for Pediatric Cancer Research. For the month of November, Chief White has authorized police employees who donate to the cause, to grow facial hair past the ¼ inch maximum length normally allowed.
Now, Chief White is asking for your help and support by joining the Rosenberg Police Team and donating to the cause.

One in 330 children in the U.S. will develop cancer by age 20, and on average, 15,500 children are diagnosed with cancer each year. ‘The Cure Starts Now’ is at the forefront of research and funding to find a cure, focusing on one of the deadliest forms of cancer, Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG).
Every little bit helps and all donations are tax deductible in accordance with IRS regulations.
The Rosenberg Police Department, along with the Rosenberg Police Officers Association, is challenging you to the best beard contest to help us raise money and awareness for The Cure Starts Now.

How to Participate:
Step 1: Donate to the cause! Go online to enter your donation and learn more about the organization:

Step 2: Cultivate a fantastic beard.
Ladies: if your beard-growing skills aren’t up-to-snuff, you can still participate by making a donation and coloring your hair for Color for the Cure
Step 3: Put your beard to the test. Submit a photo (jpg, png, or pdf) of your amazing beard-age to the Rosenberg Police Department by going online to:rosenbergtx.gov/bearditup
