Stafford MSD Hosts School Safety Program With Secret Service

Agents and Civilians with the U.S. Secret Service gave presentations on School Safety,Cybersecurity, Child Safety, and more.

STAFFORD, TX — The Stafford Municipal School District and the City of Stafford provided a unique training opportunity for education and law enforcement professionals throughout the State of Texas on May 2, with "A Day With The U.S. Secret Service."

Agents and Civilians with the U.S. Secret Service gave presentations on School Safety, preventative measures, Cybersecurity, Child Safety and much more.

With approximately 500 attendees, this was believed to be one of the largest "Safe Schools Programs."

Stafford MSD welcomed Superintendents, Police Chiefs, school resource officers and law enforcement officers, Principals, School Counselors, Administrators, Teachers and more.

The morning portion of the event featured a panel with two school counselors, a principal, a school resource officer and a teacher.

The event was a collaborative effort, and we are especially thankful for the Stafford Culinary Arts program for providing breakfast, lunch and dinner, the SMSD personnel who handled registration and the Superintendent's Student Advisory Council, who assisted the attendees throughout the event.
