Stafford Residents Rattled By Warehouse Explosion.

Warehouse owned by local electric service company is leveled, but none are hurt.

STAFFORD, TX -- An explosion at a warehouse near downtown Stafford shook homes and shattered a few windows early Thursday morning.

The explosion, which is still under investigation, happened just before 4 a.m. in the 300 block of Brand Lane near South Main Street.

The warehouse belongs to Jimerson Underground, and electrical service company.

Firefighters found the building on fire and were able to quickly extinguish the flames.

No one was hurt in the explosion, and officials still don't know what caused the explosion.

Police said the business is secluded from neighborhoods and homes and was empty when the explosion occurred.

The cause is under investigation.
