SUGAR LAND, TX — Sugar Land police are looking for a man who stole a pair of $165 shoes from City Gear, located at 2725 Town Center Blvd. North., on March 14.An employee said the man came in the store at 12:35 p.m., and looked at shoes and other items in the store. An employee said the man approached the counter with store merchandise and a City Gear bag. The employee was bagging the items when she was distracted by another customer and walked away to help.The man told the employee he needed to get a receipt from his car to exchange the merchandise in his bag, but he never returned. It was later determined that he used the bag to steal a pair of Nike Air Jordan 6 Rings basketball shoes.The suspect was a bald black man in his 30s and weighed 220-230 pounds.
