Sugar Land PD Looking For Supect In Jewelry Theft

The man in the video was black with a bald head, wearing a blue Astros Championship t-shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoe.

SUGAR LAND, TX — Sugar Land Police are looking for a man seen on video stealing rings valued at more than $72,900 from Plaza Jewelry in December.

The theft was teported at 14033 North Southwest Freeway, on Dec. 1, 2017.

The man walked into the store just after 1 p.m. and asked to look at rings.

An employee placed a display of rings on a counter, and turned away to grab a calculator.

When her back was turned, the man quickly grabbed the rings and ran out of the store.

The man in the video was black with a bald head, wearing a blue Astros Championship t-shirt, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, and wore a gold chain on his neck, and wore gold jewelry on his wrist.

He was last seen driving off in a white JEEP sports utility vehicle.
