Sugar Land Police Search for Two Women Involved in Theft From Kroger Store [VIDEO]
Police said pair believed to have committed another similar theft and another Kroger Store 30 minutes later.

SUGAR LAND, TX -- Police are looking for two young women who were involved in a theft from the Kroger store on Jan. 14.
Police said that two young women walked into the Kroger store in the 4800 block of Sweetwater Blvd., at about 6:30 p.m.
One of the women, who was described as a light-skinned African-American woman, wearing a purple hoodie and blue jeans, walked to the customer services area, placed her hand in her purse and demanded money.

The other woman, who was described as a light-skinned African-American woman with short blond hair, wearing dark basketball shorts, a light colored sweatshirt and white sandals, came into the store immediately after the first woman and waited at the front of the store.
Police said the woman who demanded the cash never threatened the Kroger employee.

The surveillance footage from inside the store showed the woman in the white sweatshirt waiting near the exit and leaving just ahead of the woman in the purple hoodie.
Footage taken outside the store shows both women getting into a dark Chevrolet or Dodge and driving away.
Police believe the same two women were involved in a similar crime that occurred 30 minutes later at another Kroger Store at State Highway 6 and Voss Road in Fort Bend County.
