Sugar Land Shooting Suspect Arrested: Police
He shot his gun out of the vehicle he was in, police say, hitting a building and sending bystanders into a panic.

SUGAR LAND, TX -- A suspect was arrested in relation to the Sugar Land Town Square shooting that took place Wednesday night. ABC13 reported that license plate recognition technology helped lead to the arrest.
Jarodd Deon Wilson, 19, of Missouri City, was arrested and charged with deadly conduct. Nobody was injured in the shooting, but it certainly caused a mass panic in the area around 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday.
"There were some people here who obviously did see somebody with a weapon and they took off very quickly," said John Stoner, an Army veteran, according to ABC13. The gunshots reminded Stoner of Baghdad, he told ABC13.

The bullets hit buildings and structures in the area. Two hit a business building across from city hall and four hit a balcony.
Investigators say there were likely two shooters, wielding a rifle and a handgun, who fired from a black car, ABC13 reported. The other suspect is unidentified at this time.

Doug Adolf with the Sugar Land police noted the chaotic nature of such shootings and their representation on the media. "When this occurred, social media lit up. There was a great deal of misinformation being circulated," Adolph said, according to ABC13. "So, it's a challenge to communicate exactly what happened."
