Sugar Land Week Ahead Weather: Hot And Stormy

SUGAR LAND, TX -- This week will see chances of showers and thunderstorms throughout with highs in the 90's. Monday has the highest chance of showers at 40 percent, with chances dwindling throughout the week.

The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for the region, warning of the possible thunderstorms and gusty conditions late on Monday afternoon.

Through the rest of the week, the hazardous weather outlook says, storms are possible and slow-moving systems could produce locally heavy rain.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 76. Southeast wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.

Tuesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 103. Light south wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.

Tuesday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 77. Southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light after midnight.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 92. Light southeast wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
