Sugar Land Woman Mugged While Walking Into Dentist Office [VIDEO]

Suspect using a stolen credit card stares straight at surveillance camera in Family Dollar Store: Police

SUGAR LAND, TX — Sugar Land police are looking for a woman who used a stolen credit card at Family Dollar Store, 7302 Scott Street, on July 27 at 8 p.m.

The woman seen using the card in the video is a heavy-set, black female wearing a blue spandex tank top and grey pants.

The stolen card was taken during a robbery earlier the same day.

A 48-year-old woman said she parked at Kim Gee Orthodontics, 2343 Town Center Boulevard, and as getting out of her car at about 3:30 p.m.

As she was walking toward the dental office when she heard someone coming up behind her.

The woman told police that a man grabbed her purse, knocking her to the ground.

She held onto her purse and was dragged a short distance through the parking lot.

When she let go, the man ran away with the purse and got in a grey Ford passenger vehicle driven by another person.

The thief was described as a black man in his 20s, 6 feet 1 inches tall and had an afro-style haircut.

Police said the stolen credit card was also used at Ralston Liquor, at 6724 Cullen Blvd., and Texaco, 7140 Scott Street.
