Thieves Popping out Sideview Mirrors at Fort Bend Shopping Mall
Dealership warns that replacement mirrors can cost as much as $1,000 to replace, depending on the type of vehicle.
ROSENBERG, TX -- The side view mirrors that many motorists take for granted have become a target for theft this holiday season.
According to the Rosenberg police, at least three SUV owners have come forward to report that someone removed the sideview mirrors from their vehicles while they were parked at the Brazos Town Center shopping complex last weekend.
The thieves, police said, are not removing the entire mirror with the plastic casing, just the mirror from the casing itself, which means the driver likely won’t notice until he or she is behind the wheel.
